This is the part where I answer a few common questions some people may ask when one makes a site about things like video game characters. Questions like; why I made this site, can the media be used elsewhere, the meaning of life, and so on.
The first few names I came up with either sucked, sounded like they would fit other Zelda characters, or just weren't catchy enough. I wanted something that would help Ilia stand out from the others without sounding over the top. One night, while I was listening to music from Twilight Princess, this one song played and I thought, "wow, this is really pretty." When I looked at Winamp player to read the song title it said Calm & Hope. And I immediately wanted to use it for this site, and here we are... Coinsidentaly, this is the melody which plays after Link escorts Ilia to Kakariko Village. I chose this name because it seems to capture Ilia's soul.
When Link found Ilia alive and well I know that lifted a world of worry off of his shoulders. This would undoubtably give him some peace of mind, and having her support him with her kind words and promises tof waiting for him would give him hope. I like to think calm and hope is one way Link might describe Ilia.

Yes, I do. I wish I could style my hair the same way. What...?
Are you a Link/Ilia shipper?
Yes, I am. It's one of my favorite pairings. But I enjoy pairing Ilia with other characters... Link too.
Do you hate Zelda or Midna?
I get this one a lot and my honest answer is, no, I do not. I love Princess Zelda, always have. She's been one of my favorite characters for a long time. And while I'm not the biggest fan of Midna, she was a good character.
What is your favorite Zelda game?
"Majora's Mask."
How about a favorite melody from Zelda?
"Ballad of the Windfish." ...Closely followed by the "Song of Time" and "Ilia's Theme."
Who's your favorite Pokémon?
Koffing. Okay, so it's not Zelda relevant but I am asked this question at times... XD

You may use the official images if you want, but anything made by myself or others you will need permission. Icons/Avatars are up for use on your Live Journal or blog or whatever, but please remember to credit the iconists. Credit is given to the iconist here by simply hovering your mouse over the icons.
